Our ecology

Sculpture 2

As leaders, we are awakening to the trappings of our industrialized world. Day-to-day we are experiencing increasing frustration with the emptiness of the never-ending pursuit of organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Our traditional, quantitative organizational measures tell us we're "doing fine".

However, many leaders are pre-sensing the erosion of the quality of organizational health. Amidst the clamour and ever intensifying external pressure to "produce", we invite you to stand still and reflect:

We invite you to stand still and reflect...

Who am I?

Where am I going?

What’s most important to me?

What is my contribution?

Reflecting on these same questions ourselves, we have responded in part by establishing the Canadian Centre for Leadership and Human Values.

As a not-for-profit organization, the CCLHV is becoming a focal point for conversations, projects and initiatives that expand the context of leadership and explore the true meaning of contribution and impact. We are looking for and have begun to assemble leaders who share a belief in the possibility that organizations can transform into healthy and sustainable communities.

We believe “leaders” are everywhere in our society, whether their positions are formal or not.

If you’re one, we’d like to get to know you.

"I must first be the change
that I wish to see in the world."
