The Tipping Point

Written by Malcolm Gladwell
Reviewed by Paula Morrison

The book demonstrates how often seemingly irrelevant influence can have major surprising impacts upon the world. The ‘tipping point' is that moment when ideas, trends and social behaviours cross a critical threshold and ‘happen' causing a wave of reaching effects.

Psychologically, Gladwell recounts research including trends and simple things like people are more likely to agree with an idea if already nodding their heads when hearing it.
